Military Passenger Car P3 |
|
The P3 was developed as a replacement for the earlier P2 military passenger vehicle. The P3 had a more powerful engine and a modified suspension system.
The P3 could carry up to seven passengers, and had excellent cross-country performance. It was also very reliable. Roughly 4,000 P3s were built from 1958 through 1968. Like its predecessor, the P2, it was eventually replaced by the Soviet-made GAZ-69 and UAZ. The vehicle on display is on loan from St. Klotz.
