The Mittlerer Lastkraftwagen 3t (4x2) Opel-Blitz 3,6 36S was well-suited for the poor terrain conditions on the Russian and North African fronts. It was powered by a 68hp water-cooled gasoline engine, and had a wide variety of body styles.
The vehicle’s chassis was produced by Adam Opel AG in Brandenburg, and was built from 1938 to the end of the war. About 70,000 of these vehicles were built by 1945. The vehicle on display is on loan from Dr. med. H. Didjurgeit.
