In 1930, the firm of DKW in Zschopau, Saxony was the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. In 1938, the German Army chose the 350cc NZ model as a medium courier motorcycle. With its aluminum frame, it weighed 145kg, had four gears and could reach a top speed of 105 km/hr.
The motorcycle on dispay was renovated in 1982 by the Panzertruppenschule’s workshops.
